Welcome to Pinnacle American School
We are located in Madinat Zayed, capital of the Al Dhafra Region in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. We welcome all families and their children to a school that operates K1-6, Kindergarten, Elementary and Middle school.
Our curriculum is based on the California Common Core State Standards. These standards equip our students to build a sound and solid educational foundation to confidently compete in fields emphasized in the UAE National Agenda. STEM subjects are at the core of our curriculum as we ENGAGE, EXPLORE, EXPLAIN, ELABORATE and EVALUATE throughout each lesson. Creative Art and Music is also highlighted in our school vision as we seek to make our students STEAM savvy. Our commitment can also be seen in the 4C’s of CREATIVITY, COLLABORATION, COMMUNICATION and CRITICAL THINKING.
About us and our values
Pinnacle American School takes great pride in being a school that prioritizes culture, caring, community and children. Recently, our positive teaching and learning culture received a GOOD rating from Irtiqaa. We know students who love learning are most likely to attend school and improve achievement results. Caring for our students is strongly echoed in our belief that all students can learn. Our mission to develop world-class learners is reflected in providing a robust learning support program and interventions to assist every individual child to achieve their potential beyond PAS. Respectfully, this aligns with the vision of the countries rulers to provide quality educational opportunities for every child to succeed by 2030.
We respect the importance of the internationally spoken Arabic language and the adherence to local protocols, culture and traditions. We acknowledge the support of our Emirati and non Emirati community to ensure every child becomes proficient in both Arabic and English. To further help our students achieve this, we assign one teaching assistant in English subject classrooms from KG to G4. Our assistants have received college degrees in education from their home countries and specialize in teaching ELL students. Many are also licensed teachers, are pursuing further education and are dedicated to the total wellbeing of every child, academically, socially and emotionally.
Furthermore, Pinnacle American School received a GOOD rating for National Identity, the only school to achieve this in Madinat Zayed. Building strong community links with families and community was also acknowledged by Irtiqaa in their latest inspection which we are extremely proud to have achieved.
We offer after school Extra-Curricular Activities to further develop the interests of our students. This includes additional academic support as needed. We also cater to smaller class sizes throughout each grade which ensures our students receive more individualized education to support achievement.
